Powerful creative platforms allow you to turn your consumer-generated content such as Instagram photography into a valuable brand assets and create for example shopping gallery for your online store.

While standard white background photography gives a good idea how the product is like, user generated photography illustrates how the product is in a real-life environment providing social validation for the products featuring a user generated image.

The process to get started is almost exactly the same for all platforms.

How to integrate Yotpo
Navigate to Settings > Integrations section in the Nosto admin, insert your Yotpo App Key and click submit. This will sync content from the creative platform to Nosto. The progress is shown in the sync-screen and it might take up to a few hours depending on how much user generated photography you have. For Yotpo ratings and reviews, please see article here.

How to integrate Foursixty
Navigate to Settings > Integrations section in the Nosto admin, insert your Foursixty Page ID and click submit. This will sync content from the creative platform to Nosto. The progress is shown in the sync-screen and it might take up to a few hours depending on how much user generated photography you have.

How to integrate Olapic

Contact your Olapic account manager to get access. Olapic and Nosto will set up the integration for you.

Getting Started with User Generated Photography

Getting started with the content itself with Nosto is the same regardless of what creative platform you use.

After a user has given a consent to use photography within a creative platform, Nosto automatically syncs the photography so that you can use it also in Nosto features.

Once you have set-up the integration, enabling user generated content in Nosto features is as simple as flipping a switch when creating or editing an on-site recommendation. Note the switch: use user-generated photography.

Custom Templates
If you wish to build more customized recommendation templates where UGC is used more creatively - for example as hover state images or in a collage effect.  You can navigate to our template section. There please make use of the following variables as you see fit:
