Common errors when connecting e-commerce software with Nosto

Why do I get the client-mismatch error?

This error happens when your e-commerce platform does not match your current selected e-commerce platform in the sign-up.

Please contact Nosto support to resolve this issue.

 

Why do I get the invalid-redirect error?

This error happens when the domain of your store’s doesn’t match the domain of the website configured in Nosto. For example, your store is accessible at https://www.example.com/index.html but the URL configured in Nosto under the Account settings is https://wwww.acme.com/index.html.

You can resolve this issue by logging into the Nosto admin and setting the “Frontpage URL” correctly in the “Account Settings” page.

 

Why do I get the not-owner error?

This error happens when you are not the account owner of the account selected from the account selection dialog in the “Connect” wizard. An account can have a single owner.

You can resolve this issue by retrying the “Connect” but logging in as the account owner or asking the account’s owner to do so. In case you have misplaced or forgotten the owner credentials, please contact Nosto support.

 

Why do I get the no-accounts error?

This error happens when you do not have any accounts on Nosto. In order to successfully complete the “Connect” wizard, please ensure that you are the owner of at least one and of course hopefully the correct account on Nosto.

Why do I get the invalid-account error?

This error happens when your store is reporting your Nosto account identifier incorrectly.

This issue can be resolved by removing the Nosto account from your store and then doing the “Connect” all over again. If you are unable to understand how or have problems with the “Connect” wizard, please contact Nosto support.
