It is possible that within one same visit, a shopper progress within the customer lifecycle.

For example, if a shopper lands as a First-Time Visitor, starts interacting with the product catalogue, gives various buying intent and is identified as a Prospect by Nosto's AI-powered Ecommerce Intelligence Engine and finally end up purchasing at the end of the visit, he becomes a First-Time Customer.

In this example, all the browsing behavioral events and transactional events are reported to the Insights of the following segments: First-Time Visitor, Prospect and First-Time Customer.
