Why are certain products not being indexed?

Please check the following settings for possible reasons why a specific product is excluded from Nosto Search or Nosto Category Merchandising (Universal):

  • Check if the product has the availability Invisible or Discontinued. These products are excluded from indexing.

  • Check your active out-of-stock policy if products are excluded due to their stock status.

  • Check the active exclusion policy and the blacklisted products if products are excluded on this basis.

  • Check your active filter rules if you have excluded products with a certain attribute globally or from specific listings.

  • Check if the product has a related image in the product data. Products without images are not being indexed.

  • Fields with more than 8.192 characters cannot be indexed - these fields are skipped as a whole.
