The Orders section in Nosto offers a comprehensive overview of all transactions within a selected timeframe.

It’s designed to give you full visibility into how Nosto interacts with your store’s order data — from attribution and product engagement to campaign performance.

You can find the Orders section under:

Experience AI → Product Intelligence → Orders

Overview

The Orders interface displays a list of all orders and key details, including:

  • Order number – unique order identifier

  • Order type

  • Date

  • Units sold

  • Order total

  • Nosto attributed sales – total value of sales attributed to Nosto

  • Campaign attribution – campaign(s) associated with the order

  • Payment provider

  • Channels – how the order was placed (e.g., API, browser, Shopify Pixel)

You can also add or remove columns by clicking on the Configure button below the date selector.

You can select the timeframe using the date selector in the top-right corner of the interface.

To locate a specific order, use the search bar to search by order number.

Filtering Options

The Orders view includes advanced filters to help you analyze order data from multiple angles. Available filters include:

  • Channels – e.g., browser, API, GraphQL, Shopify Pixel

  • Nosto campaign interaction – orders influenced by specific Nosto experiences like:

    • Onsite Recommendations

    • Triggered Emails

    • Pop-Ups

    • Category Merchandising

    • Email Widgets

    • Onsite Content

  • Nosto products – identify which Nosto feature influenced the order

  • Nosto recommended products – filter orders that contain Nosto-recommended items

  • Ordered products – filter by specific SKUs or products

  • Order total – filter by total value of the order

  • Nosto sales – filter based on Nosto-attributed sales value

Column Configuration

The Configure menu allows you to customize which columns are displayed in the Orders table.

By default, the following columns are shown:

  • Order number

  • Date

  • Order total

  • Nosto attributed sales

  • Campaign attribution

  • Payment provider

  • Channels

You can add, remove, or reorder columns as needed to match your preferred workflow.

Bulk Actions

The Orders view supports two key bulk actions to help you manage and clean your data:

Mark as Imported

Use this option to mark orders imported from external systems.

  • These orders are excluded from attribution and analytics, but

  • Still contribute to behavioral data training, allowing Nosto to learn from customer behavior without affecting reporting accuracy.

Mark as Ignored

Use this option to fully exclude certain orders (e.g., test or invalid orders).

  • Ignored orders are excluded from both analytics and behavioral models.

This flexible data control ensures your attribution reports and training models remain clean and accurate.

Exporting Orders

You can export all orders — or just filtered subsets — as a CSV file.

This is useful for:

  • Offline analysis

  • Data backups

  • Integration with other analytics tools

Summary

The Orders section in Nosto brings together operational data and campaign attribution insights in a single interface. It empowers merchants to:

  • Track and validate Nosto’s impact on sales

  • Audit campaign and channel performance

  • Exclude irrelevant or duplicate data

  • Export data for advanced analysis or sharing

It’s a powerful tool for understanding and optimizing how Nosto drives conversions throughout the shopping journey.
