Nosto relies on the page type tagging to report onsite events such as Landings, Views, Exits or Bounces. 

As a fallback, if no page type tagging is implemented, Nosto uses the Onsite Recommendations settings to infer on which page types the recommendations are served and subsequently which page type the users are browsing your online store.
