How fast can Nosto deliver assets?
Nosto delivers content over HTTP/2 using Amazon Cloudfront services.
Amazon CloudFront is a fast Content Delivery Network (CDN) service that securely delivers data to customers globally with low latency, high transfer speeds. Using CloudFront as CDN means that visitors getting served by Nosto's content connect to the edge location nearest to them. This decreases the latency as in most cases we’re able to serve the content directly from the edge server and it also decreases the time spent on SSL negotiation as round-trip times to edge locations are shorter. So in practise, a visitor in Sweden would automatically connect to a edge location in Stockholm that would handle the request.
The Amazon CloudFront Global Edge Network
