Nosto runs both partial updates to update products and related data within just a few minutes and also full re-indices. The following table shows how different parts are being updated:

Initial setup

Once your Nosto Search and/or Category Merchandising (Universal) module is enabled, product data will take up to 12 hours to fully sync. Every subsequent re-index runs every 6 hours as shown in the table above.

Exclusion logic updates

The exclusion logic is being updated in three different scenarios:

  • When changing the global setting (e.g. hide excluded products), it will reflect in Nosto's Search within a few minutes.

  • Changing the exclusion logic for certain products is reflected within a few minutes.

  • Brand, category and tag based exclusions will be reflected during the next full catalog re-index.
