If the Findologic search fails unexpectedly, a fallback mechanism must be activated in order to continue to offer your shop visitors a search function.

The modules provided by Findologic implement this mechanism by default.

In order to guarantee maximum reliability, there is a multi-level security system:

  1. Round Robin: Distribution of search queries over several servers

  2. Load balancing: Load distribution within the Findologic cloud

  3. Fallback server: Hardware failures are intercepted

  4. Fallback mechanism: Redirects to the standard shop search in case of a connection or service failure
