As a valued user of Nosto, we want to ensure you have the latest information regarding our compatibility with Shopify's new Checkout.

You can use Nosto with Shopify's new Checkout, but there are a few limitations you should be aware of. These limitations are related to recommendations on specific pages, attribution, and the upcoming checkout extensions.

Currently, Nosto does not provide recommendation functionalities on the "Thank You" and "Order Confirmation" pages of Shopify. All other page types are not affected and will work as before.

For accurate attribution, it's important that the shopping process does not bypass the Cart page. This means that customers should go through the cart (or mini-cart) page before reaching the final checkout page. This ensures that all data is accurately captured and attributed. If the shopping process bypasses the cart page, Nosto's data tracking may not work as expected. As an example, you should not have direct-checkout from specific Product Pages active.

We're excited to announce that checkout extensions are in our development roadmap and are expected to be available later this year. This update will enhance your Nosto experience on Shopify by providing more options for displaying recommendations and personalizing the checkout process.
