Nosto calculates and processes presented statistics based on the data it has collected from the site either through tagging or directly from the shop’s platform / back-office, if an implementation based on API is in place. As Different analytics services use a variety of methods to track visits and purchases it is normal to have slight differences in statistics between for example Google.

Live feed in the dashboard is real-time, but other statistics such as sales update randomly every 8th hour meaning it’s reasonable always to monitor statistics from yesterday as today’s full numbers might not been processed yet.

To understand better what is considered as a Nosto sale, read article here, while an article covering why different web-analytics might show slightly different results can be found here.
