All the widgets use, by default, the configuration in the Google Analytics 4 Plugin Configuration page. However, if you use the same widgets across multiple websites/regions, Visual UGC allows you to customize the Google Analytics tracking on a widget-by-widget basis.
How to get started?
Go to Engage > Widgets
Click Edit on the Widget you want to customize the Tracking
Click on the Google Analytics section
Select the option Customize Google Analytics Tracking
Enter the domain where this custom config should trigger.
Select the Google Accounts, Property ID, and Data Stream for the Custom Config.
If you want to track the same widget against multiple Google Analytics configurations, click +Track with Another Data Stream and add the relevant details.
Widgets with the Custom Google Analytics Tracking enabled are not tracked using the default configuration in the Google Analytics 4 Plugin Configuration page
When this configuration is enabled, the widget will track events to the selected Data Stream only when rendered in the selected domain.
