As of October 1st, 2025, due to changes introduced by Meta, Nosto now applies a 90-day window to rights-manage content aggregated from Instagram. This means that if content is not rights-approved or owned within 90 days of aggregation, it will be automatically removed by Nosto (exception to this is content marked as published before Oct 1st 2025.

To help you manage this, we've introduced two features:

1. The Expiring Soon Label

Tiles that are approaching the end of their 90-day window and have not been rights approved or owned will be marked with an Expiring Soon label.

  • These Tiles are at risk of being automatically trashed by Nosto in less than 2 weeks.

  • The label is a visual cue to prompt action—either approve rights, remove the content, or take other relevant steps before the content is lost.

2. The Expiring Soon Tab

To make it easier to monitor and manage at-risk content, you'll find a dedicated Expiring Soon tab within your Curation view.

  • This tab displays only the Tiles that are due to expire within the next 14 days.

  • It provides a focused view so you can take quick action before content is automatically removed.

Recovering Expired Tiles

If a Tile has already expired and been removed, you can still recover it manually using the Nosto Chrome Extension.
