Shopify Bundles sync to Nosto exactly like any other product. They don't carry a special type or separate treatment, so they can appear in your recommendations, search results, and collection pages the same way any other product would.

Bundle inventory in Shopify is virtual: it's calculated on the fly from the products inside the Bundle, rather than tracked directly like a regular product's stock. When your Nosto account is set to specific inventory locations, that virtual inventory often falls outside them - and the Bundle shows as Out of Stock in Nosto, even though it's available in your store. Shopify Bundle availability fixes that.

The change also applies to Shopify Bundles that already synced - it may take a moment to take effect.

⚠️ Important to know

Overwriting the inventory location set means that we're listening to the total combined stock level of each product in the Bundle, showing the lowest stock level as Bundle stock. This can mean that for the specific inventory location of your Nosto account the stock level is incorrect. But this does not override availability: when Shopify marks a Bundle as Out of Stock, it goes Out of Stock in Nosto too.

By default, Bundles behave like any other product and can show up wherever your regular products do - Recommendations, Search etc. For most stores that's exactly right, and there's nothing more to set up.

If you'd rather treat them differently - keeping them out of a "New Arrivals" recommendation, or building a dedicated "Shop the Bundle" campaign - add a Tag or Metafield of your choosing to your Bundles in Shopify, and use this as filter when setting up your experience in Nosto. Entirely optional, and the naming is up to you.
