Stackla's Rights Management functionality provides a workflow for clients to request Rights for any piece of User Generated Content they have aggregated into their Stack, beyond just Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

The following guide provides the recommended Best Practices for requesting Rights if you would like to apply this workflow to content collected from the following networks:

  • Facebook

  • Flickr

  • Google+

  • Imgur

  • Pinterest

  • Reddit

  • Sina Weibo

  • Spotify

  • Soundcloud

  • Tumblr

  • Twitch

  • Vimeo

FACEBOOK

Stackla offers two Discovery Term types upon which a User can ingest User Generated Content from Facebook. These are:

  • Comments

  • Fan Posts

When requesting Rights for a Comment, the recommended approach is for the relevant page Admin to select to Direct Message the content creator by selecting the Message option located under the Comment.

The approach is similar for Fan Posts which have been posted directly to the page you Administer. For these posts, there should be a Message option located on the far Right underneath the post.

Once the Message button has been selected, the Page can converse directly with the User in a Private conversation and send the Rights via Registration URL.
