Social validation is critical to eCommerce success. Drive conversions with authentic product recommendations at the point of sale. Social Commerce creates an association between your products and user-generated content. This can help to:

  • Enhance the shopping experience – let your customers see your products in real-life scenarios with real-life endorsements.

  • Empower your customers to generate content around your products – amplify mentions and buzz around your products across social networks.

  • Showcase your brand ambassadors and brand partners, integrating their content into your product pages.

  • Track and report on customer interactions and conversions – see a clear connection between more engaged customers and purchasing trends.

You can utilise Social Commerce in two ways, through the use of ShopSpots or via Show Products on all aggregated content.

ShopSpot

Available for all responsive vertical and horizontal widgets (now called Carousel, Waterfall, Grid, Masonry, Slider, & Quadrant). Use this area to highlight products within user-generated content for commercial purposes. A ShopSpot can appear on the Inline Tile and also in Expanded Tile (Lightbox). For instructions on how to create ShopSpots click here.

Show Products

Provided you have created a Product Tag, this can display the product’s information beneath the Inline Tile and the Expanded Tile (previously called Lightbox) view. For instructions click here.

What option should I use?

ShopSpot and Product Tags options can be used independently, or together. Both options require information about your products, such as product name and description, custom URL, etc. This information is managed via a Product Tag, which can be created for an individual product or an entire product category.
