Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enables customers to add an additional layer of security to their Stackla User Profile by requiring users to generate an Authentication code each time they log into the Product.
To enable 2FA, simply go to Users > My Profile in the Navigation and select Two-Factor Authentication from the header.
Listed below are the steps to setup 2FA:
1. Download your Authenticator App
Tools such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, Duo and Authy are all free Authenticator apps which can be downloaded and installed on your mobile, tablet or computer.
2. Scan the Unique QR Code
Once you have installed your App, you can progress with connecting the App to your Stackla User Account. This can be done by scanning the QR code presented on the Two-Factor Authentication screen or by manually typing in the Secret Code.
3. Enter Six-Digit Verification Code
Once you have connected your Stackla Account with your Authenticator app, you will be provided a short term six-digit verification code. This will be required to validate the connection.
4. Save your Recovery Codes
Once you have completed the above steps, you will be provided with 10x eight digit recovery codes which can be used in-case you can no longer generate a short term verification code.
Please save these somewhere as they will only be visible once.
Once you have enabled Two-Factor Authentication, you will be prompted to add your Verification or Recovery code whenever you log into Stackla.
