Visual UGC offers the ability to connect multiple Nosto Personalization accounts with a single Visual UGC.

Why is this useful?

  • To increase productivity, offering the possibility to curate and publish content once while deploying it across multiple storefronts

  • To improve day-to-day management, with one single place to manage all your UGC for each of your stores.

How to Get Started?

If you are a multi-brand or international retailer and would like to connect multiple Personalisation accounts with a single Visual UGC account please contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support team to enable this for you.

Once Visual UGC has been enabled for all our Personalisation accounts, the process is really simple! Just to go to each Personalization accounts locate the Visual UGC menu item and click Get Started.

Follow the steps to configure the Default CTA label or behavior you want for the widgets of each account. Once that's completed you will be able to find all the Personalization accounts connected with Visual UGC by going to Visual UGC Admin Portal > Settings > Product Feeds. Each account will be represented by a different feed.

If you want to learn more about our Visual UGC localization features refer to this guide.

Not sure if using a single Visual UGC account is the right approach for you?

When assessing what the best setup for your company our team is here to assist you so, reach out to your Customer Success Manager and discuss your needs.

We have also listed below a couple of limitations related to using a single Visual UGC account that can help decide:

  • Rights management: With a single VUGC account, you can't have multiple approval hashtags, all the brands or regions using the same account need to use the same hashtag.

  • Curation Process: If you have multiple teams looking after different brands or regions you will need to setup different views and have a good taxonomy in place to ensure you separate the content that each team needs to moderate.

  • Integrations: Most integrations can only connect with a single instance of the 3rd party system so, if different regions or brands use different accounts, a single Visual UGC won’t be able to accommodate that.

  • Co-Pilot: Co-Pilot learns from behavior within the platform, multiple brands might have different marketing boundaries/identities so Co-pilot might not be able to provide the most relevant suggestions if multiple brands are using different strategies & campaigns.

  • Organic Advocates: Each Visual UGC account can only support 1 community portal so, if each brand or region is using a different advocated strategy or want to have a different look&feel or language you will need multiple Visual UGC accounts.
