Revamped user interface: what's changing?

After successful years in 2022 and 2023 at Nosto, during which we acquired three tech solutions, it is now time to evolve our brand identity to reflect our growth and streamline our user interface for an improved experience for all users.

In addition to visual changes, the user interface will feature more intuitive navigation and unlock additional information and features. New product names have also been introduced, aligning more closely with their purposes and anticipating future evolutions.

We understand that changes can take some time to get used to, but no worries—we've got you covered with this article. Keep reading to discover what’s changing in the Nosto platform’s user interface.

Introduction to Nosto’s CXP new core and experience clouds.

The Nosto platform will be equipped with a new core called experience.AI™. It provides additional insights, along with new capabilities for supporting hyper-focused experiences.

experience.AI™ is complemented by two experience clouds that give you the tools to action your data and take your product and content experiences from ideation to execution.

experience.AI™

This is the neural core of the Commerce Experience Platform (CXP), where we connect and enrich customer, product, and content data in real-time, fueling our AI engine to power your commerce experiences.

It serves as the home of your Business Intelligence Center, offering a robust set of features that enable you to access deep insights on all your commerce data and make informed decisions. Here, you'll also find the Dynamic Targeting tools necessary to create hyper-focused experiences that appear wherever, whenever, and for whoever you want—optimized for maximum ROI.

Product Experience Cloud

Our Product Experience Cloud provides you with all the features necessary to streamline product discovery through hyper-targeted commerce experiences, reducing path-to-purchase, enhancing relevancy, and boosting conversion rates, average order value, and loyalty.

Content Experience Cloud

Our Content Experience Cloud gathers all the tools to enrich your site with personalized and highly engaging content experiences, attracting attention, driving conversions, and leveraging your customers’ authentic UGC.

New navigation

Top navigation

Shifting from the current left-side navigation, all features are now grouped under experience.AI™ (Nosto's new core) and experience clouds, accessible through a dropdown menu in the top navigation.

Left navigation

The left-side navigation will now exclusively serve as the dedicated area for accessing sub-level navigation options related to the selected feature.

Settings

The settings are now accessible in the top-right corner of your screen. This is where you'll find your ‘Account Settings’, including integrations and currency settings. From there, you can also find the 'Access Management' section for data control and importing customer data. Finally, within the settings, you'll find the tools section, including coupon codes and time periods setup.

Account and resources

In the top-right corner, you can log out of your account and access shortcuts to useful resources such as the Nosto Academy, help center, and more.

This is your home, providing access to intuitive dashboards that centralize key website and campaign insights.

    All key ecommerce metrics in one place to understand your site and campaign performance.

  • Audience Insights & Builder (formerly Segmentation & Insights)
    The place to gain insights into your audience segments and understand shopper behavior.

  • Product Intelligence (formerly Catalog Explorer)
    A configurable view of your product and catalog’s real-time performance.

  • UGC Monitoring (new for users who haven't leveraged UGC yet)
    A space to moderate and aggregate user-generated content from over 25 social networks.

Dynamic Targeting

  • Audience Insights & Builder (formerly Segmentation & Insights)

    This is also where you can build your audience segments.

  • Global Merchandising Rules (New)
    A single hub for shaping item sorting in search results, category pages, and recommendations (depending on your subscription).

  • A/B Testing
    The place to ensure maximum performance of every Nosto campaign with A/B/n, split, and multivariate testing.

  • Placements
    Where you can manage all your campaigns’ placements.

  • Recommendations

    The central point for all your product recommendation slots

  • Dynamic Bundles
    Where you build bundles based on complementary products curated by AI or manually.

  • Search and Categories
    This is where you build hyper-relevant onsite search with personalized results and influence sorting of items on category pages.

  • Category Merchandising
    Your control center to influence product sorting on category pages.

  • Personalized Emails (formerly Email Widgets)
    Here, you can create email widgets to integrate product recommendations into your emails.

  • Triggered Emails

    Where you can create campaigns to send timely emails to shoppers based on specific actions they've taken, such as reminder emails for abandoned carts.

Features within Content Experience Cloud

  • Content Personalization
    This is where you can create campaigns to personalize all content elements of your site.

  • Behavioral Pop-Ups
    Where to create your behavioral pop-ups and overlays.

  • UGC Publisher Center (new for users who haven't leveraged UGC yet)
    The place to manage and publish user-generated content across digital touchpoints.

  • Ambassador Builder (new for users who haven't leveraged UGC yet)
    Your hub to find, engage, and reward your best brand advocates. This is also where you’ll find the direct uploader feature to capture content directly from your customers, including those without social media accounts.

ℹ️ Important notes for customers whose subscription includes UGC:

  1. The visual UGC widget deployment has moved home and is now accessible through UGC Publisher Center > Touchpoints > Widgets.

  2. The Chrome extension, which allows you to connect Nosto to Chrome for quick and easy actions with UGC directly from your browser, now features the updated logo.

  3. You can review all changes to the UGC admin portal in the dedicated help article.
