A requirement imposed by Facebook, Google+ and Instagram is in order to be able to aggregate content from these respective networks, you need to identify the User, App and/or Business Account that you are ingesting from.

The process of identifying which User, App and/or Business Account you are aggregating from is called Self Signed Authentication, and involves you giving permission to Stackla to aggregate on your behalf.

Stackla will never publish posts on your behalf. At no point will your account information be exposed or used by Stackla for anything other than aggregating content.

To start this process and generate your Social Token, you can either:

  • Create a New Term for the respective Network

  • Navigate to Settings > General and click on the Social Data Access tab

If you wish to remove an Account from your Stack, navigate to Settings > General and click on Social Data Access. From here you can remove any accounts that you no longer want associated with your Stack.
