While aggregating content via Instagram Hashtag Search is a great way to find content that people are posting about your brand or topics that are relevant to your campaigns, there are some limitations put in place by Meta that you should be aware of.
Each Instagram Business or Creator Account is permitted to query a maximum of 30 unique hashtags within a rolling 7-day period. It's important to note that once a hashtag is queried, it contributes to this limit for the subsequent 7 days.
What does that mean in Nosto?
This means that for each Instagram account you connect with Nosto you can only create a maximum of 30 unique Instagram Hashtag terms within a rolling 7-day period.
If you need more than 30 unique Instagram Hashtag terms within a rolling 7-day period you will need to connect more Instagram accounts with Nosto.
Within Nosto, you have the flexibility to deactivate hashtag terms that are no longer relevant to your needs and that frees up a hashtag count once the rolling 7-day period concludes.
