Instagram carousel posts (multi-image or video posts) are ingested into Nosto as individual tiles—one for each image or video. This approach ensures maximum flexibility, allowing each piece of content to be used independently across your UGC campaigns.
However, if you prefer to display carousel posts as a grouped set (similar to how they appear on Instagram), you can easily enable this behavior in your UGC widget settings.
Note: This feature is only available in UGC Widgets using NextGen Templates. If your widget is built with a Classic Template, you'll need to create a new widget using a NextGen Template to access the Content Carousel setting.
How to Enable Instagram Carousel in UGC Widgets
Go to your UGC Widgets section.
Navigate to the widget where you want to display Instagram carousel content.Select the widget you want to edit.
Open the ‘Expanded Tile’ settings.
In the widget editor, locate the Expanded Tile tab in the settings panel.Enable ‘Content Carousel’.
Toggle on the option labeled Content Carousel.
This will automatically group multiple tiles originating from the same Instagram carousel post into a single, swipeable unit inside the widget’s expanded view.
Notes
The grouping only appears in the Expanded Tile view of the widget.
Individual tiles from carousel posts are still available for use across other widget types or standalone placements if needed.
This setting applies only to Instagram content ingested as carousels.
