This is a fantastic way to display content at a live conference or event. Event screens are designed for the fast-paced display of content during a live event. The screens are designed for viewing not for online interactions.

Instructions: Click on Engage > Screens, and choose a template to best suit your needs. Once chosen select Create New Event

The below information will explain the available features (template-specific) for each event screen.

Settings

Information

  1. Activate Event: By default, your Event will be set to Active to ensure that you can use it straight away. If you do not wish for this to be the case, un-select the option.

  2. Name: enter in the event.

  3. Filter: Select your desired Filter to ensure your desired content appears.

Transition

  1. Number of Tiles in Loop: this option allows you to select the number of items (image, text, or video) you wish for the Event Screen to rotate between. For example, if your Event Screen does not contain a high amount of content you may wish to choose 15. Alternatively, if you have a high amount of content to display, select 100 tiles.

  2. Transition Duration (Scrollwall & Carousel only): select how quickly you would like the content to slide across the Event Screen.

  3. Transition After (Carousel only): set the waiting period to the next slide.

  4. Spotlight tile (Carousel only): activate this option to highlight the text.

  5. Transition Effect (Carousel only): choose to Slide/Fade the animation speed (in milliseconds).

  6. Transition Duration (Mosaic only): determine how long you would like each Mosaic screen to appear at one time.

  7. New Content Transition (Waterfall only): Choose between All at Once or Stagger.

Media

  1. Allow Video Autoplay: use this option to determine whether videos should automatically start playing once they appear on the screen.

  2. Allow Video Sound (Carousel only): choose to turn the sound of videos on or off.

Other

  1. Image Quality Control: By default, this feature is inactive. However, when selected, any images with low quality won't be shown on your event screen. You can also specify the minimum size.

Appearance

  1. Background Colour: Select the color of the background for the event screen. This can be selected manually, through the HEX number or the RGB code.

  2. Background Image: Alternatively, to the above, upload a default image to appear in the background of the Event Screen. Max image size 1M, allow extension .jpg .png .gif.

  3. Gutter Width (Carousel only): determine the space between columns.
